The Perfect Beach Day

Yesterday was the absolute perfect beach day! After church, me and my best friend decided to go to the beach to escape the terrible heat. I’m a fan of summer, but definitely not a fan of the hot temperatures that come with it. Newport is one of my favorite spots to go to, and it was the perfect day to go. The weather was marvelous. The other random picture is just one I’ve been dying to take for a while of this red fence door. The light outside made it stand out when I was getting into my car in the morning. So, I took the chance and snapped a photo.

My first time outside the U.S.

I have never ever been outside of the U.S….until this past fourth of July Weekend. How ironic huh? I celebrate our nation’s independence by going to another country? hah. Happy Birthday Isabela, hope you enjoyed it! :)

** I went to Ensenada, Mexico (thanks Garett for letting me know I forgot that little bit of detail… haha)

One of my lifetime goals: Travel. I want to see the world. But then again, who doesn’t?

I forgot to post the photos from disneyland. It was my mother’s birthday/ father’s day so we made an entire weekend out of it! :)

Blue BayouWe ended the night with dinner at the Blue Bayou (the restaurant inside Pirates of the Caribbean) and it was amazing. Surprisingly, even though I grew up having an annual passport all through childhood, I had never ever been there. The food was delicious! :)

Those corporate Disneyland guys are genius. Free on your birthday!? Who is going to go by themselves to Disneyland? HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROTH... ;)

Website is DONE!

So, I am very happy to say that I have pretty much finished the website (for now anway…until I decide I want to update the look later) AND the blog.

Now, let me tell you…this was NOT an easy task for me. I am new to the whole blog thing and coding and all of that confusing computer language. But, I knew that I had to learn to get this started…so I did! It took me a week to figure everything out. AND I couldn’t have done it without some people giving me some (who am I kidding) LOTS of tips. (Karoleen, Hannah, wordpress forum, bigfolio, and the tofurious video tutorials) Goodness gracious.

I am not lying when I say I screamed with joy when I finally put everything together and… NO ERROR messages came up.

I’m so very happy and thankful! :)

So, go ahead and check everything out.
