Merry Christmas Everyone and very Happy Birthday to lil baby Jesus!! I hope you all have/had a wonderful Christmas filled with lots of love and family/friend togetherness.
I was able to celebrate the blessing that is the birth of Jesus at church by helping out with the Christmas Program. It was this past Sunday and I was so caught up with the slideshows and children that I didn’t have the opportunity to snap some photos. But, it was awesome! And the kiddies rocked it. Omar, Ruthie, and I pulled it off nicely and they did a great job.

What do you get when you put some gorgeous models together, an awesome makeup/hair/wardrobe team to pull off my Anthropologie inspired dream? Oh, I’ll show you.
Many thanks and props to the models/hair/makeup/warbrobe team: Kelli Zehnder (makeup/hair) and Michelle Green (Wardrobe/hair). Brittany and Alison were the wonderful models! And I can’t forget Hillary…for letting me borrow some amazing props (gorgeous bag from Paris, some luggage, and some lovely lovely gloves!) The photoshoot would NOT have been the same without them!
I’m in love with the anthropologie catalogues, not only because their style and clothes are lovely…but because their photographs are stunning as well. So, I set out to find models that could light up the frame. I started to wing it because there were just so many directions to go in…so what started out as just one inspirational idea…turned into other ideas. So, I haven’t edited most of the anthropologie inspired photos yet. But here are some of my favorites from the 1st round of edits.
I’ve got loads more to share, not just from this photoshoot, but also from a lil trip to Griffith park Observatory/Planetarium with some good friends! So, stay tuned!

I’m sorry it had to come to this. I know goodbyes are always ugly. I’m sure it’s been about a year or so, and frankly, even that was too long. Sure, I liked you at first and we had some great times…but then, I grew bored and irritated with the way you looked. My feelings have just changed. I’m sorry, I must say it…because you need to hear the truth:
It’s you, not me.
And I know this may hurt you….but….I’ve found something better. It was fun while it lasted, but now I’ve found a design that I really love. So goodbye old blog design…you’ll always have a piece of my heart because you were the first…but you won’t be missed.
So…as you may be able to tell, I have had my blog completely redesigned. A lot of things have changed and it wouldn’t have been possible without the AMAZING help from graphic designer, Karoleen DeCastro. I knew how I wanted it to look (more or less haha) and so I designed it and Karoleen coded it. She made my ideas come to life! She’s pretty awesome and extremely talented! I am very happy with the new blog!
