New lens, means I get to test it out! So, that’s exactly what I did. I had some fun testing it out on my friend Kirby and as always Omar is there to be a gracious subject. I love this new lens! Canon 50mm 1.2 L ….ah.

I’m happy to have a quality prime lens, because personally I just love not being able to zoom in and out. I like to be interactive in my movement around a scene. Zooming does give me more flexibility, but I tend to get way more creative when I’m forced to move around. Although, people who have seen me photograph tend to think I’m a ninja already…or a ballerina. I balance with one leg on tiny ledges…probably not the safest, but it gets the job done.
